About Vince:

If you have been a customer or a friend of ours at Cogan’s in the past 3 years, you have probably seen Vince working hard in the dish pit almost 7 nights a week. That is until recently. Vince has been battling cancer for quite some time now and, to everyone’s heartbreak, things are just not looking good. He is now confined to a wheelchair and unable to work. He has been sent home from the hospital to be as comfortable as possible with his family for the time he has left.

Vince has not just been an excellent employee for us…his outgoing personality and smile has made him a fixture at Cogan’s. Customers love to see him, shake his hand, and talk football as much as they love their pizza and beer.

Now we would like to give back to Vince for everything he has done for us. So many of us in small businesses can relate to either ourselves or our employees going without health insurance. And as the sole provider in his home, when the time comes, he will not be able to afford the proper celebration of his life that he so greatly deserves.

The Event:

Celebrate Vince will be taking place Saturday, May 24th from 1-5pm @ Cogan's Pizza (1901 Colonial Avenue in Ghent/Norfolk). Fun activities include:
